National Service Scheme

National Service Scheme, widely known as NSS was launched in its parental organisation, Kourstuv Group of Institutions (KGI) on the Father of Nation, Mahatma Gandhiji's Birth Centenary Year. The NSS is a Central Sector Scheme of Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. It gives chance to the students to participate in various government led community service activities & programmes. The sole point of the NSS is to give hands on experience to young students in delivering community service.

NSS Wing: The NSS Wing was formed on 30/10/2014 with an expectation to offer support to general public through student volunteers.

Red Ribbon Club (RRC)

The Red Ribbon Club is visualized to ingrain among all the students the values of service, create solid ways of life, and increase access to safe and adequate quantities of blood to all the needy by promotion of regular voluntary blood donation. Apart from this, RRC aims at harnessing the potential of the youth by equipping them with correct information on Mental Health, Substance abuse, Nutrition and reproductive & Sexual health and building their capacities as peer educators for spreading messages on positive health behaviour in an enabling environment.
